CANNON-DANIEL-90As you probably have heard by now, Fr. Daniel has felt God’s call to serve in a capacity outside of St. John’s and will soon begin work as a lay chaplain at St. Mary’s Hospital. If you have not yet received your letter from Fr. Daniel, please contact the church office. While we are sad to see the Cannon family leave, it is certainly true that we will keep them all in our prayers and support them in this transition.

Sunday, January 17th, will be the last Sunday the Cannon family shares with us. Please plan to stay for a special farewell coffee hour following each of our services. If you would like to contribute to a gift, please make your contribution by Sunday, January 24th. Please make checks payable to St. John’s Episcopal Church and indicate “rector gift” in the memo.

Be assured that just as God has called the Cannon family to their own path of service, the congregation of St. John’s remains faithful in our service as well in worship, caring for one another and ministering to our community. The vestry and staff will continue to keep you informed about our search process and together through our worship, outreach and fellowship our ministry will remain strong.

Blessings,

The Vestry of St. John’s
