Christmas Outreach BasketsPlanning is well underway and our contributions are vital for success! This year we are changing it a bit and spreading out our giving over the weeks leading up to our delivery date. Each week will be designated as a Giving Sunday for specific items needed for the baskets and as the weeks roll by our contributions will build for our Packing the Baskets Sunday on December 14th!

We will remind you weekly, but have included the list of needed items with corresponding Sundays. And of course there are no rules! Checks are always welcome and needed to round out our baskets and to purchase extra baskets (actually 18-22 gallon plastic bins). If you only shop once a month and would rather buy it all at once and bring it in…Hey, we’re good with that! It all works because we work together!

Christmas Outreach Basket Deliverly

The holidays can be an exciting and hectic time for many if us. But they can also be a time of loneliness and pain for others. There is nothing better to keep the season in perspective than taking some time to help others who may be in that unenviable position. Since we hand deliver all the baskets to each resident, we have the great fortune to see directly the results of our efforts. It’s hard to tell who is receiving the greater gift. We will post more opportunities to help with this project closer to the holiday, but for now, let’s get shopping!
