Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our understanding: Grant us so to hear, read, mark, learn and inwardly digest them, that we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. - BCP p. 236

Frequently Asked Questions

Do my kids need to be registered to attend nursery, Sunday School or Youth Group?

Nope. Guests and friends are always welcome to attend. We frequently have participants sign in for classes or events to help us track attendance and also so that we can connect again in the future but all are welcome.

Do Episcopalians use the Bible?

It is our foundation, understood through tradition and reason, containing all things necessary for salvation. Our worship is filled with Scripture from beginning to end.  Approximately 70% of the Book of Common Prayer comes directly from the Bible, and Episcopalians read more Holy Scripture in Sunday worship than almost any other denomination in Christianity. (See Revised Common Lectionary for readings.)

I’d like to be part of a discussion group but I often work when you meet. Is there a way I can still be involved?

You bet. We know that life gets busy. Being involved in adult discussion groups is a guilt-free commitment. Come when you can. Traveling? We have options for folks who need to virtually attend. Have tech. Will travel.

What is the Book of Common Prayer (BCP)?

The Book of Common Prayer is a treasure chest full of devotional and teaching resources for individuals and congregations, but it is also the primary symbol of our unity. We, who are many and diverse, come together in Christ through our worship, our common prayer.
